TWELVE DAYS OF TAIMIZU
TWELVE DAYS OF TAIMIZU is a fan week celebrating the romantic pairing of Taigen/Mizu from the adult animated action series Blue Eye Samurai!This event is open for anyone and everyone to participate, whether in the form of art, fics, AMVs, graphics, gifs, headcanons, playlists, meta essays, or anything else—as long as it's something you made! All skill levels and level of work detail (from drabbles and sketches, to fully rendered paintings and thousand-word fics) are allowed and encouraged!There aren't any strict rules here. You can have fun with the prompts and be as creative as you like, as long as Taigen/Mizu remains the focus!

1. How exactly do I participate?
Simply post whatever you made (ie. art, fics, gifs, etc) according to the prompts given for each day, and tag your post with #12DaysofTaimizu.2. Do I have to make a post for every single day?
No, it's not mandatory! While some people try and create something for each day, others only participate for certain days of the week. There's no pressure. Do whatever is within your means.3. There are two prompts for each day. Do I have to choose one or do both?
Whichever is easier for you! You can either choose one of the two prompts, or if you're more ambitious, you can try doing both. Or if you'd like more of a creative challenge, you could even combine both prompts! It's up to you.4. Do I have to strictly follow the prompts for each day? What if I have my own ideas?
You do not have to strictly follow the prompts. The prompts are simply there to give you an idea and a bit of a challenge. But if they feel stifling to you, please don't feel pressured to follow them, or interpret them as loosely as you want. As long as your work focuses on Taimizu, feel free to use it as an entry for the event!5. Can I post my work on other social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok?
Yes, feel free! While the mod is primarily running the event through Tumblr, please feel free to post your work to other social medias as well and use the hashtag #12DaysofTaimizu!
EDIT: The Taimizu Nation server now has an Instagram page @TaimizuNation, so feel free to tag the page as a collaborator in order for your work to show up on the page's feed as well!6. I'm not creative but I still want to participate :(
You can absolutely still participate by reblogging/retweeting/sharing others' work, leaving comments, and generally interacting with your fellow fans. Any gesture of spreading the love for this ship throughout the duration of the event can be considered participation! If an analogy may be used, fan creators build beautiful houses, but it won't mean much without anyone living in it. As such, interacting and supporting your favourite creators is essential to the fandom and encouraging creativity!7. If the event is all the way in June, why promote the event now in March?
So that all who are interested to participate can have ample time to create their works in preparation for the event!8. Why is the event specifically 12 days and not the usual 7? Why choose these specific dates?
Basically the idea for this event came up as a fun way to celebrate the birthdays of LillyMakesArt and Mod Haydar as a gift to ourselves! The event starts and ends on both our birthdays respectively :)9. Can I post my works after the events ends? Are late entries okay?
Yes! The point of this event is purely for fun and to build our little fandom community, so please take your time. If you can't complete a prompt or create anything in time for the event, you can still add to the AO3 collection and post your works on social media with the hashtag at any time you're able—even if it's late by a week, a month, or even more!10. Are NSFW works allowed?
Yes! Just make sure to tag it as such and list content warnings accordingly.
